Our Admissions Strategy Is Now a Self-Paced Course

The College Application Lab: eight modules covering the full application process.

For years, we’ve done this work one family at a time. We sit across from a student, go through their list, read a personal statement through six or seven drafts, and watch someone turn into a stronger applicant than they thought they could be walking in. That part of the job hasn’t changed since we started Admissions Angle in 2019. What’s changed is how many students we can reach that way.

The College Application Lab is everything we’ve built since our years teaching in Seoul, where we first learned what a competitive application requires, put into a self-paced course anyone can start today. Eight modules, in the same order we’d walk a student through in person: building a college list, developing an admissions strategy, writing the personal statement, tackling supplemental essays and handling everything that comes after you hit submit.
